Get Expert GovCon Guidance from PilieroMazza
Sarah Nash and Nichole Atallah , partners in PilieroMazza’s Labor & Employment Group, helped BOOST learn more about how they help navigate the twists and turns of the GovCon road:
In two bullet points or less, how are you solving problems for your clients?
We leverage each of the firm’s practice groups—Labor & Employment, Government Contracts, Business & Transactions, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution— to focus on providing clients with practical solutions, not just a legal answer.
We pride ourselves on making the legal world digestible to our clients so that they can understand their options and opportunities.
What is the ideal client for you? Who wouldn’t be a good fit?
Our ideal clients are government contractors with a wholistic approach to business opportunities, including understanding the impact employees can have on the bottom line and the risk of noncompliant policies. If you’re not ready to think about preventative maintenance, and not already dealing with an audit or lawsuit, it’s likely premature to start a relationship.
What trends are you seeing in your industry for GovCons in 2024?
We see more challenges with multi-state and labor law compliance, whether it’s about employee classification, sick leave requirements, or drug testing limitations. In the government contracting space, we’re also seeing a lot of updates when it comes to prevailing wage requirements.
