BOOST is Here to Help

March 3, 2025/in GovCon /by Stephanie Alexander

To our clients and network,

It truly feels like March Madness since I’m pretty sure it has been at least 8 GovCon lifetimes since Jan. Our worlds have been turned upside down and we’re all trying to figure it out.

To that end, BOOST is working to serve you where we can be impactful. Here are some ways we can help:

Evaluating the future of your back office. If you have had to downsize your workforce, you should be looking at your back office and determine what is necessary to keep your business running. It’s not a pretty discussion, but we can help you evaluate what you need to have in-house, what you can outsource, the immediate priorities, etc. Back office is our niche and we can give you some advice that you can put into place quickly.

Contracts – Our team is available to help with termination notices (and they are way more reasonably priced than lawyers).

Pricing – Changes in your company mean changes to your rates. We can help update your indirect rates with any company changes and work with you on competitive pricing.

HR – Our team is ready to assist with on or off boarding as contracts are coming and going. We can also give advice on how to guide your employees in an uncertain environment.

Accounting – We can advise you on the costs you need to be tracking, give real-time cash flow reports, and run scenarios on the impact of decisions that need to be made.

Know that we hate even talking about contractions, layoffs, and termination notices. This isn’t our happy place either. But here we are, and it is the reality that some are facing.

Planning this year is a crap shoot and we’re all waiting for the storms to pass. We’ve had some folks very much feel the impact (literally businesses built in 20 years practically wiped out). And some of our folks have had little that’s changed.

If we can be helpful during this time, please don’t hesitate to ask. We have excellent partnerships in the GovCon community. If you need intros to factoring firms, let us know. If you need referrals to proposal shops, happy to make them. Need a BD consultant to figure out how to pivot and go after work in new areas. Got you.

We are all hunkering down to weather the storm, the potential govt shutdown and what we hope will be a calmer back half of the year.

Here’s to all our sanity and a brighter future ahead.

Stephanie
